What Word of the Daffodils?

The violets are lost, with roses in dwam, and carnations weep where the lilies may meet. The tulips wonder where the daisies sleep; and what of the orchids? the violets still ask. The bluebells pine for the sunflowers heart, and poppies are proud where the irises are loud. The dahlias coerce the lavenders to fly; and what of the hyacinths? the violets still ask. The violets are lost, the peonies pray; what word of the daffodils? our future still asks...
