A Quiet Place I found a quiet place inside my mind, Where broken thoughts could rest, Where every wound I tried to hide Could finally breathe its best. The moon looked down with gentle eyes, The stars were soft and bright, And for a moment, all my fears Were swallowed by the night. I learned that hearts can break and heal, That darkness doesn't stay, And even after endless storms, The sun can find its way. So I will keep this little light, Though sometimes it feels small— For hope is not the absence of pain, But choosing to rise through it all.
